An exciting opportunity for a Permitting Specialist to join a growing EPC and Developer in their venture into Germany to assist in their pipeline.
Role & Requirements
- Proven expertise in permit acquisition for construction/renewable energy projects in Germany
- Knowledge of solar PV project permit requirements
- 2+ years in project coordination/management
- Understanding of local regulations, environmental laws, and experience working with government bodies
- Strong project management and organizational skills for handling multiple permit applications
- Excellent communication in German and English (B2 level)
- Understanding of construction processes
- Strong time/project coordination and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel across Europe
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or management
- Active cooperation with authorities (e.g., Distribution Network Operators) for administrative consents
- Verification and archiving of project documents
- Preparing reports on the status of consents and agreements
