Taylor Hopkinson is recruiting for a Planning Engineer to join a leading renewable energy company that is rapidly growing in the European market.
This person will support in the Planning and Control activities for the whole group in Europe. Role based in Madrid with some remote work option.
Role:
- Support the different business units in terms of planning and control of the projects, reporting to the Global Engineering Director
- Calculate and control budgets and costs for the project and make sure they are progressing as expected
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports to the team and control project expenses
- Consider potential challenges to achieve deadlines and search for alternatives to re-conduct the procedures and adjust the budget
- Be in direct contact with the development, engineering, financial and construction team to ensure a smooth integration of the process
- Monitor the performance of the different teams and point potential needs to be improved internally as well as with external partners
Requirements:
- Engineering degree
- Previous experience in control and planning activities within the renewable energy sector
- Excellent management of Excel and MS Project
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Availability to travel from time to time to the different business units
