Responsibilities
- The Port Logistics Manager will oversee all in-port logistics activities for the offshore wind project, focusing on the efficient and safe handling of load-ins and load-outs of foundation and turbine components. This role requires a seasoned professional with excellent organizational skills, a collaborative approach, and substantial experience in port logistics operations.
- Manage and oversee load-in and load-out operations for foundation and turbine components
- Supervise all in-port logistics activities, ensuring efficient use of resources and compliance with schedules
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team to deliver the package scope successfully
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to streamline port logistics operations
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements during port activities
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures related to port logistics
- Handle contractual matters, including variations and claims, associated with port operations
- Provide regular progress reports and updates to project leadership
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure smooth and timely port logistics execution
