Program Manager

Taylor Hopkinson is searching for an experienced Renewable Energy Portfolio Manager for a leading European solar energy developer.

The job location is Milan, Italy.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering the pipeline of projects from the development phase through to construction, acting as the local representative and day-to-day point of contact for development partners.
• Ensuring the company’s standards and policies are incorporated into all projects, planning and governing to oversee the successful delivery of the program’s output.
• Organizing and coordinating programs, providing strategic guidance to the external team, and supporting in the definition of reporting tools.
• Scheduling and coordinating regular updates (daily, weekly, monthly), identifying risks and managing corrective measures.
• Identifying and monitoring KPIs, ensuring respect of deadlines and guaranteeing proper preparation for internal approvals.
• Coordinating external service providers and supporting project evaluation, both technically and economically.
• Organizing and coordinating the steering committee, managing the dedicated third-party team appointed by the company.

Qualifications:

• Over 6 years of experience in managing and delivering projects, particularly large and complex infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in project and program management methodologies and techniques.
• Comprehensive understanding of the broader goals of the program.
• Capable of working effectively with a diverse group of individuals involved in program management.
• Demonstrates strong leadership and management abilities.
• Skilled in finding creative solutions to problems.
• Fluent in both Italian and English.
