About the Role:
We are seeking Project Development Manager with at least 4-5 years of project development experience in renewables, including at least 3 years in project development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the development of renewable energy projects, ensuring smooth progress from origination to financial close.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, landowners, and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and risk evaluations for potential projects.
- Manage permitting, grid connection applications, and environmental approval processes.
- Support commercial negotiations with partners, investors, and off-takers.
- Monitor and report on project milestones, risks, and overall development progress.
Requirements:
- 4-5 years of experience in renewable energy project development, with at least 3 years focused on project development.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy regulations, permitting, and grid connection processes in Australia.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive projects forward in a fast-paced environment.
