Project Director

As a Project Director you will deliver the assigned offshore wind project/s through development to financial close and throughout the execution phase until COD.

• Responsible for HSE by enforcing the projects strategy, goals, and objectives, ensuring the safe execution of the project and the safety and wellbeing of our people and the environment
• Lead a dedicated team of individuals across different technical and commercial disciplines, providing guidance and direction as required and including delegation of responsibility as appropriate
• Manage and liaise with internal and external project stakeholders as well as the project delivery team to ensure the success of the project
• Manage and report to shareholders ensuring the project meets the requirements of all shareholders reporting requirements
• Establishing and maintaining appropriate project specific governance, procedures and reports that meet the requirements of the project shareholders
• Represent the project in front of government, public and private entities in a manner appropriate to the size and nature of the project company
• Ensure that the project and contract structure is appropriate for a successful project
• Manage the overall build of the project on budget, ensuring best value is realised
• Responsibility for managing the financing strategy, revenue, risk and overall performance and delivery of the project programme ensuring that maximum value is realised
• Ensure that financial controls and procedures are in place to safeguard the financial integrity of all accounting transactions and records
• Adequately resource the project to ensure safety, quality and long-term profitability of the project during operation
• Ensure appropriate policies and procedures are followed according to alignment and agreement with the project partners by the project company
