The Company

Our client is a globally recognized infrastructure investment and asset management organization specializing in renewable energy and energy transition projects. The company manages multiple international investment funds backed by leading institutional investors and focuses on developing, financing, and delivering large-scale clean energy infrastructure across Asia-Pacific and globally. Their portfolio spans technologies such as battery energy storage, offshore and onshore wind, solar PV, transmission, and emerging power solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead overall project delivery across development, engineering, procurement, permitting, grid, land, and commercial workstreams

  • Establish and manage project budgets, schedules, and risk management frameworks

  • Build, lead, and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and external advisors

  • Ensure compliance with internal governance processes, regulatory requirements, and reporting standards

  • Prepare and facilitate project steering committee meetings and executive reporting materials

  • Act as the primary liaison between investors, partners, contractors, and project stakeholders

  • Support commercial negotiations with suppliers, contractors, offtakers, and service providers

  • Provide market intelligence and strategic insight to support portfolio and investment decision-making

Experience Required

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or power generation project delivery

  • Proven experience leading large-scale energy or infrastructure projects in Japan or the APAC region

  • Strong expertise in core disciplines such as project management, engineering (electrical/mechanical), commercial structuring, or procurement

  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle management from development through construction and operations

  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership capabilities

  • Japanese and business-level English proficiency

  • Ability to work in Japan
