Taylor Hopkinson is recruiting a Project Engineer for a well-established international renewable energy company dedicated to the development, financing, and construction of large-scale solar PV and wind projects.
The selected candidate will play a crucial role in supervising, coordinating, and optimising the preliminary and detailed design phases.
The role involves working closely with external engineering firms. Additionally, the candidate will support pre-construction activities (secondary permitting) and collaborate with the construction team.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and refine preliminary layouts for utility-scale solar PV and AgriPV projects, supporting early-stage development efforts.

Supervise, review, and enhance detailed engineering designs prepared by external consultants.

Ensure compliance with corporate design standards, technical requirements, and regulatory constraints.

Work closely with internal stakeholders and external consultants to optimise project layouts.

Provide technical expertise on solar PV and AgriPV system design, including structural and electrical components.

Support procurement and construction teams in the technical evaluation of equipment (inverters, modules, mounting structures, etc.).

Assist the construction team during the pre-construction phase, ensuring seamless project handover and permitting compliance.
Requirements:

Master’s degree in Electrical, Civil, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

At least 3 years of experience in the design and development of large-scale PV or AgriPV projects.

Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).

Experience with PV simulation and parametric design software (e.g., PVSyst, PVCase, or similar) (mandatory).

Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken).
