Project Engineer for Apparatus Technology a major offshore wind developer based in Germany.

Responsibilities.

  • Support or take over responsibility for modifications.
  • Extensions or renewals within power plant projects.
  • Ensuring deadlines, costs, and quality.
  • Ongoing project reporting including final project report.
  • Preparation of technical specifications as part of tender documents.
  • Managing external companies: technical discussions, production monitoring at external suppliers.
  • Coordination of different trades as well as among involved external companies throughout the entire project phase.
  • Technical supervision of implementation, claim management.
  • Managing assigned activities throughout the entire revision process.
  • Technical leadership of supporting revision supervisors/site managers and scheduling/planning staff.
  • Verifying measurements for plausibility.

Requirements

  • Engineer/Technician in the field of energy technology, process engineering, mechanical engineering (or a related discipline).
  • Sound knowledge in the field of power plant technology / steam generators / combustion systems / thermal engineering.
  • Experience in managing modification projects in the power plant sector.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, SAP knowledge preferred.
  • Sense of responsibility, assertiveness, high level of commitment.
  • Quick comprehension and a strong team spirit.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Driving license class B and access to a car.
  • Good command of German.
