General Project Execution Manager – Onshore Wind Projects

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced General Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of onshore wind projects in Korea. This role requires a highly organized, proactive, and safety-focused leader to coordinate all phases of project execution. You will manage teams, ensure effective communication with stakeholders, and drive the project towards timely and cost-effective completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Health & Safety: Prioritize and ensure a strong focus on health and safety across all project phases.
- Project Planning: Support the initial project phases, including planning, timeline creation, and scope alignment.
- Optimization: Collaborate with internal teams to implement project optimization measures and enhance efficiency.
- Team Coordination: Oversee Site Managers, Engineers, Logistics Coordinators, and external subcontractors to ensure effective project delivery.
- Customer Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project Monitoring: Track project schedules, identifying and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Quality and Cost Control: Ensure services provided meet quality standards and remain within budget.
- Contract Support: Assist the Commercial Project Manager with contract and claims management.
- Reporting: Ensure ongoing internal and external reporting, maintaining proper documentation throughout the project.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil, or related field). An advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects, particularly in the energy or construction sectors.
- Skills:
- Strong proficiency in project management techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficient in English and Korean.
- Familiarity with SAP is beneficial.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to project sites across the APAC region.
- Communication: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
