Taylor Hopkinson is currently in active pursuit of a Project Manager for a fast-growing renewable energy developer headquartered in Austin is actively expanding its utility-scale portfolio across Texas, with a target to reach 3 GW of total capacity by 2029.
The Project Manager will lead execution of both the BESS installation and new solar development project. This role involves coordinating across internal functions and external partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the full project lifecycle for a utility scale BESS and a solar PV project

Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, finance, operations, and legal

Serve as the primary interface with EPC partners

Implement and manage project controls, scheduling, and reporting tools

Monitor budgets, risks, and compliance milestones

Support interconnection, permitting, and regulatory requirements

Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on project performance

Assist in evaluating and onboarding new EPCs and contractor partners
Qualifications:

PMP certification required

5+ years of experience in utility-scale solar or BESS project management

Proven success implementing project management tools and workflows

Strong coordination and communication skills across internal teams and external partners

Direct experience working with EPCs on large-scale energy infrastructure projects

Familiarity with ERCOT or Texas market preferred

No direct reports initially; strong self-management required
- Preference for 5 days in the Austin office, but there is flexibility
