Taylor Hopkinson is recruiting a Project Manager to oversee the construction of large-scale photovoltaic (PV) and wind farm projects from the pre-construction phase through to commissioning.
The Project Manager will coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including design review, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and on-site management, working closely with engineering, procurement, and site teams.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Oversee initial site assessments, design reviews, and preparation for construction to ensure feasibility and compliance with regulations.
- Manage contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and that contract terms are adhered to.
- Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimise delays, safety hazards, and budget impacts.
- Track project progress and provide regular status updates to senior management. Ensure all documentation is maintained, including project records, reports, and regulatory permits.
- Coordinate commissioning activities, oversee testing procedures, and ensure that the project meets all performance requirements before final handover.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field;
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in utility-scale renewable energy construction (PV and/or wind projects);
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse project teams and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and regulatory authorities;
- Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are an asset;
