As a Project Manager for Subcontractor Contracts in Arizona, you are responsible for the commercial management and administration of all subcontractor contracts for construction and installation work. Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the commercial/financial handling of contracts between Company and subcontractors for construction and installation work, in collaboration with various departments at Company, from initial tender and award discussions, through kick-off meetings, execution, to the completion of work by subcontractors, including:
- Reporting
- Non-conformances
- Notifications and defect claims/complaints
- Change orders
- Measurement checks and billing
- You organize and conduct kick-off meetings and regular on-site meetings with subcontractors and the Company project team.
- You ensure that all subcontractors and Company meet and fulfill their contractual obligations.
- You prepare and participate in so-called Constructability Reviews, led by the Project C&C Manager (PCCM).
Your Background
- We are looking for a committed, structured, well-organized, and goal-oriented person who is a real team player.
- You ideally have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil/electrical engineering or equivalent technical qualifications.
- You have experience in assessing contractors’ compliance with international standards, laws, and regulations.
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Preferably, you have experience with AVA software and SAP4/HANA.
- A proactive mindset in planning and executing activities distinguishes you.
- You have strong negotiation skills and are very communicative.
- Willingness to work on-site at the construction site.
