Category Procurement Manager – APAC (Wind Turbine Generators)
We are working with one of APAC’s leading offshore wind developers to help expand their strategic sourcing team supporting their projects around the region. We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist who has significant experience negotiating and managing WTG contracts and are open to supporting relocation for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
– Lead procurement processes for offshore wind turbine projects, ensuring alignment with operational and financial goals.
– Manage the creation, negotiation, and execution of complex contracts (e.g., TSA, EPCI, service agreements) to maximize project value.
– Collaborate with internal teams (Development, Construction, Operations) to integrate procurement strategies into project delivery.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and manage performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
– Monitor market trends and leverage insights to shape procurement strategies.
– Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Technical teams to ensure compliance and meet commercial and technical objectives.
– Oversee tendering and pre-qualification processes for selecting suppliers and partners.
Education & Experience
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (commercial, technical, financial, or legal).
– 8-15 years of relevant procurement experience, particularly in offshore industrial contracts (TSA, EPCI, etc.).
– Familiarity with contract frameworks like FIDIC, LOGIC, and BIMCO.
– Strong knowledge of the offshore wind sector and its supply chain.
– Proven ability to manage high-value contracts and lead supplier negotiations.
