Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and goal-driven Sales Manager to lead and manage sales activities with a focus on onshore wind turbine projects. In this role, you will develop sales strategies, drive new business opportunities, and build strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful project delivery from lead generation to post-sales support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy: Achieve sales targets by developing effective strategies, considering both technical and financial aspects of wind turbine projects.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
    • Provide all necessary commercial and technical documentation.
    • Prepare offers and respond to tenders (RFQ/RFP).
    • Collaborate with project engineers and managers to develop tailored project-specific solutions.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact throughout the sales cycle.
    • Handle post-sales activities such as claims management and commercial adjustments.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate, draft, and prepare Sales & After-Sales contracts for signature. Work closely with the After-Sales Manager to maintain client communication.
  • Lead Generation to Handover: Drive the entire sales process from lead generation to contract signing, and collaborate with Project Management (PM) and Service teams during the installation and operation phases of wind farms.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Work with the engineering team to meet local technical and regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Documentation & Permitting Support: Assist in the completion of necessary documentation for permit applications, such as KTC test reports and certifications, to ensure all technical and governmental standards are met.
  • Sales & Order Intake Planning: Support sales and order intake planning by aligning with the Pipeline Manager.
  • Sales Tools: Use and update sales tools (CRM, SAP, etc.) to ensure accurate reporting and data management.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Regularly consult with internal teams to ensure all project-related aspects (commercial, legal, technical) are accounted for and addressed.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 7 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in heavy industry, construction, or the energy sector.
    • Experience in the renewable energy sector, including interactions with regulatory departments such as KESCO, KEPCO, and KOSHA, is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communicative and interpersonal skills with a goal-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Korean is a must.
