Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and converting new commercial opportunities & for business acquisition and the tendering process. This role works closely with experienced engineering team to develop innovative solutions that address the specific needs of the clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic business development initiatives to drive growth and revenue in key Korean Market.
  • Identify and target new prospects, generating demand through inside sales, networking, and direct client engagement.
  • Oversee the negotiation and closure of business deals, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic and financial objectives.
  • Maintain and expand a strong network of clients, suppliers, and strategic partners in the offshore wind industry focus on Korea
  • Support the technical team during engineering solution development by constructively challenging proposals from a technical, functional, and commercial perspective.
  • Set up and manage project proposals throughout the tendering process, from preparation to submission.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in commercial, business economics or technical field.
  • +7 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or commercial management within the offshore wind industry.
  • Possess a broad network in the APAC offshore wind market, particularly in South Korea.
  • Have a proven track record of successful sales in the international renewable energy sector.
  • Fluent in English for both speaking and written
