Sales Manager – Austria

Overview:

Taylor Hopkinson is seeking a Senior Sales Manager in Austria or Germany. Our client is a leading European turbine manufacturer in the Onshore Wind industry. They’re currently experiencing a period of growth and are seeking a knowledgeable, German-speaking sales manager to increase their efforts mainly in Austria and a few Eastern European countries.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to achieve defined sales targets in the region (i.e. regional sales KPIs like order intake, etc.)
  • Process owner for the entire process from lead generation until contract signing.
  • Responsible for Sales & After Sales contract negotiations (TSA, EPK),
  • Responsible for the quality of the reporting and data in the designated sales tools (CRM, SAP, etc.)
  • Execute Business Development measures
  • Active project acquisition: approaches prospects, creates new leads and maintains/improves existing relationships with customers.
  • Ensure to receive information about upcoming tenders and use publicly available information about planned projects to approach clients & initiate contracts
  • Collaborate with Global Business Development to receive latest information on market, clients, etc. for client acquisition
  • Develop the appropriate sales strategy for his projects in order to improve the competitiveness of our product and services and to increase the attractiveness of the project, taking into account all the technical and financial aspects of a wind energy projects by
  • Negotiate, draft and prepare for signature the complete delivery and maintenance contracts in consultation with other departments,
  • Regular contact and consultation with all other departments, making sure that all project related aspects and risks (commercial, legal, technical) are correctly taken into account
  • Build and maintain customer relationships, i.e. travelling, meetings, fairs & sector workshops
