We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to lead our client’s large-scale market and project solutions across Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing utility-scale sales, application engineering, grid modelling, project management, and service activities. The ideal candidate will be adept at independently developing and executing commercial plans to meet sales targets and driving the brand’s influence within the utility-scale solar market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead utility-scale sales and project management efforts across the Oceania region, ensuring alignment with global strategies.
- Develop and execute commercial plans independently to achieve sales targets.
- Build and manage customer relationships within the utility-scale market by leveraging industry knowledge of value chain players and the sales process.
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities to expand our client’s presence in the Australian market.
- Manage the sales process and maintain a strong project pipeline to meet business objectives.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of B2B sales experience in the PV, solar, or renewable energy industry within the Australian region.
- Proven track record in utility-scale project sales, project management, and commercial management, with the ability to communicate general technical concepts effectively.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and passionate about renewable energy.
- Demonstrated experience working across various regional markets.
- Comfortable working in a multi-national and matrixed organisation, collaborating across departments and geographies.
