Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to lead the expansion and growth of our client’s logistics solutions. This role requires a professional who can leverage in-depth market insights, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and drive the success of projects within the logistics and transportation sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Define and execute strategies for acquiring and growing client relationships in the project logistics sector.
  • Target Achievement: Take responsibility for meeting sales targets and key business goals.
  • Client Engagement: Foster and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and project success.
  • Proposal Creation: Develop and present tailored proposals to potential clients, highlighting the unique value of our offerings.
  • Market Insights: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to understand market trends and identify new opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, commercial, and solution design to ensure effective delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Leadership (if applicable): Guide and mentor team members, fostering a culture of high performance and success.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong experience in business development, sales, or project management in the logistics or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth and managing international projects.
  • Experience working in diverse geographic and cultural environments.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in both Japanese and English (spoken and written).

Desirable:

  • Advanced business qualifications (e.g., MBA or similar).
  • Previous experience with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
