Senior Business Development Manager, Taiwan
Duties and responsibilities
* Pursue and develop new business opportunities in collaboration with third parties, demonstrating initiative and strategic thinking.
* Utilize the sources, identify and secure new business opportunities to grow the pipeline.
* Structuring deals, negotiating transaction documents or contracts, and managing the due diligence process are essential duties that require a high level of expertise and internal coordination.
* Lead project development to ensure projects are viable and align with our strategic goals and provide sound strategies or solutions when needed.
* Coordinate with internal departments to align resources and expertise, ensuring comprehensive support for project development.
* The ability to run financial models and assess project returns is critical for making informed decisions and securing budget approval for project development.
* Present projects for internal risk review and seek formal budget approval, requiring strong presentation and persuasion skills.
Knowledge
* Demonstrable experience preferably with renewable energy developer
* Strong negotiation skill and comprehensive understanding of contract structure
* Understanding of project finance and financial modelling terms
* Strong written and verbal English language
* Understanding of renewables industry, energy, and environmental issues
Experience
* 5 to 7 years’ experience some of which in infrastructure, energy or solar
* Strong track record of project development, closing deals and contract negotiation.
* Developing and managing work-related projects, deadlines and resources across cross-functional teams
* Experience in M&A is essential
