Working closely with engineering, commercial, regulatory, and investment teams, this role focuses particularly on the late-stage commercialisation and project closing phases.

  • Manage all aspects of project development including budgeting, scheduling, design, planning, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet commercial, technical, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with markets and regulatory teams to support commercialisation efforts, including participation in government programs, offtake agreements, and network support contracts.
  • Mentor junior development managers, fostering professional growth and supporting a culture of excellence in project delivery.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including negotiating commercial terms for partnerships and supporting strategic origination of new projects.

  • Proven experience managing the end-to-end development process for large-scale energy projects through to financial close.
  • Strong understanding of the technical, commercial, and regulatory aspects of renewable and storage projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with investors, partners, and community representatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, law, finance, environmental science, or project management preferred.
