Senior Finance Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the structuring, modelling, and execution of project finance transactions for renewable energy projects (solar and storage).

  • Build, maintain, and refine highly detailed financial models (including debt sizing, equity returns, sensitivities, and risk scenarios) to support project evaluation, bids, and investment approvals.

  • Support and lead capital raising efforts, including negotiations with lenders, investors, and financial institutions for debt and equity financing.

  • Conduct detailed cash flow forecasting, return analysis (IRR, NPV), and financial due diligence to evaluate project bankability and viability.

  • Coordinate closely with business development, technical, legal, and commercial teams to ensure financial alignment with project timelines and risk assessments.

  • Review and advise on key project documents including PPA, EPC, and O&M contracts from a financial and bankability perspective.

  • Manage relationships with financial advisors, legal counsel, lenders, and external consultants during financial close processes.

  • Prepare investment memos, internal presentations, and scenario analysis reports for management and board-level stakeholders.

  • Monitor and track financial performance across project portfolios and advise on strategic project pipeline prioritization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA, CFA, or equivalent postgraduate qualification is strongly preferred.

  • 10 years of experience in project finance or investment roles, with a minimum of 5 years in renewable energy infrastructure.

  • Proven experience in building complex financial models from scratch and performing investment analysis for project finance or M&A transactions.

  • Strong understanding of project documentation, including PPA, EPC, O&M, and shareholder agreements.

  • Familiarity with lender requirements, financial structuring, and due diligence processes in renewable energy projects.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present to senior management, investors, and board members.

  • Deep knowledge of financial markets, funding structures, and regulatory environments in the Philippines.
