The Role
Our client is seeking a Senior Grid Connection Expert to lead the integration of renewable energy projects into the grid and energy markets. From early development through commissioning, you will take ownership of grid connection processes and ensure compliance with grid codes across multiple jurisdictions. This is a hands-on technical leadership role with significant influence over project success and future energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive grid integration for wind, solar, and BESS projects, managing applications and compliance.
- Coordinate with TSOs, DSOs, OEMs, and external consultants to ensure grid code compliance.
- Support technical procurement and vendor evaluation for electrical components and control systems.
- Oversee commissioning and testing to guarantee safe, reliable, and grid-compliant operations.
- Investigate grid connection requirements in emerging European markets and contribute to innovation in system modelling.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Master’s degree in electrical engineering, power systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in grid integration, and electrical engineering for utility-scale renewables.
- Strong project ownership, problem-solving ability, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional fluency in German and English
