Taylor Hopkinson is seeking an M&A Manager or Senior M&A Manager to join a leading renewable energy company with an international presence.
The selected candidate will lead M&A activities for renewable energy projects in Poland and other Eastern European countries.
Role based in Warsaw, with hybrid working options available.
Responsibilities
- Originate opportunities to sell renewable energy assets (mainly solar PV, wind, and BESS) across Eastern Europe
- Act as the main point of contact for major sales and acquisitions, engaging with high-level stakeholders
- Identify potential opportunities for project acquisitions and lead co-development negotiations
- Support projects post-development, particularly in the early stages of construction
- Perform financial modelling, portfolio valuation, and preliminary assessment of opportunities
- Develop business plans for companies undertaking M&A processes
- Review and interpret terms in operating agreements, financing agreements, and power hedge agreements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Engineering
- Strong financial modelling skills and experience are highly valued
- Previous experience in the renewable energy sector is an advantage but not mandatory; similar industrial backgrounds will also be considered
- For candidates from the energy sector, PPA knowledge is essential
- Fluency in Polish and English
- Willingness to travel when required
