To achieve our clients goals, we are looking for a Project Developer (m/f/d) for our battery storage projects in a permanent position. You will be involved in projects from site acquisition to construction, leading them successfully to completion. Your work will make a significant contribution to the company’s success.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead the development of battery storage projects in Germany from site acquisition to construction readiness. Manage internal and external stakeholders and service providers while ensuring project timelines, resources, and budgets are met.
- Site Analysis & Planning: Conduct efficient site analysis and secure locations using internal and external GIS tools. Collaborate closely with freelance land acquisition specialists and negotiate lease agreements.
- Grid Connection & Construction Pre-Requests: Coordinate grid connection and construction pre-requests in close cooperation with our experts.
- Permit Planning: Liaise with relevant authorities, municipalities, consultants, and other project stakeholders. Prepare and submit permit applications to secure all necessary approvals for project implementation.
- Project Presentation & Communication: Present projects to municipalities, communities, local citizens, and landowners. Coordinate project marketing efforts with internal and external specialists.
Your Profile:
- Successfully completed studies in Geography, Urban Planning, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in project development for battery storage or renewable energy projects (PV/Wind) is preferred.
- Strong skills in MS Office and GIS.
- Fluent German (business level).
- Class B driver’s license and willingness to travel within Germany.
- Independent and solution-oriented work approach with strong team spirit.
- Confident demeanor, excellent communication skills, and strong negotiation abilities
