Senior Site Health & Safety Specialist

The Senior Site Safety & Health Specialist is responsible for leading and implementing project specific safety policies and procedures and provide professional Safety & Health leadership to the project management team in a heavy construction environment

Oversee Safety & Health programs on construction sites to ensure safe, compliant operations in line with Clients standards. Manage site-specific compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations, striving for zero incidents. Conduct performance reviews, assessments, and documentation to maintain regulatory and corporate standards. Address work stoppages related to immediate health risks and collaborate on solutions with project teams. Provide safety consultations, identify and correct hazards, and ensure all stakeholders are aligned on safety goals. Lead training sessions and review incident reports to promote a proactive, safety-focused culture.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or Construction Management with 7 years of relevant experience, OR Associate’s degree with 9 years, OR High School Diploma/GED with 11 years.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA Construction and General Industry Regulations, ANSI, NIOSH, CoE, EM 385-1, and NEC Standards.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work flexible schedules on-site.
  • Must meet company vehicle driving standards and hold a valid driver’s license.
  • OSHA 10-hour Construction Outreach Safety certification.
