Key Responsibilities
- Oversee safety programs on-site to ensure safe project execution.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA regulations.
- Promote a zero-incident safety culture.
- Conduct safety assessments and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Stop work if there’s an immediate danger to life or health and implement solutions.
- Work with the client’s safety teams to address site safety concerns.
- Lead safety training sessions and document compliance.
- Review incident reports and recommend safety improvements.
- Complete daily safety reports and maintain records for audits.
- Travel to project sites as needed.
Qualifications
- Solar industry experience required.
- Education & Experience (one of the following):
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or Construction Management + 7 years of safety experience
- Associate degree + 9 years of safety experience
- High school diploma/GED + 11 years of safety experience
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, NIOSH, CoE, and NEC safety standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work flexible schedules at project sites.
- Must meet company driving policy requirements & hold a valid driver’s license.
- Required Certifications:
- OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour Construction Safety Training
