The Senior Site Safety & Health Specialist is responsible for leading and implementing project specific safety policies and procedures and provide professional Safety & Health leadership to the project management team in a heavy construction environment. Needs to have extensive transmission and Distribution experience
Lead and implement project-specific safety policies and procedures for heavy construction environments, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA regulations. Administer Safety & Health programs, conduct regular assessments, and collaborate with project teams to maintain a zero-incident safety goal. Address and resolve safety concerns, manage work stoppages, and provide training on safety protocols. Document safety activities, review incidents, and recommend corrective actions. Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Maintain audit-ready records and drive safety excellence across project sites.
