Structural Package Manager- Jackets for a major Offshore Wind Project based in Germany
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the jacket and foundation structural package, including seabed interaction and grouted connections.
- Coordinate interfaces with other packages (electrical, mechanical) and departments (procurement, O&M, logistics).
- Review and approve EPC contractor designs and documentation against standards and project requirements.
- Prepare technical specifications, evaluate tender documentation, and support tender teams.
- Provide technical recommendations and resolve conflicts across disciplines.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks; ensure safe and efficient construction, installation, commissioning, and O&M phases.
- Implement technical audits and inspections during fabrication and installation; support commissioning and O&M experts.
- Manage subcontractors and additional specialists within the package.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, QA, and permitting requirements; develop inspection and test plans (ITPs).
- Act as focal point for all jacket and foundation structural issues; maintain lessons-learned database.
- Monitor fabrication and installation activities and assure quality standards.
- Report regularly to project management and support decision-making.
Requirements
- University degree in engineering (Bachelor, Masters or diploma) in according to the specific function requirements
- Strong expertise in offshore foundations and jacket structures, including seabed interaction.
- Experience with corrosion protection systems, ideally ICCP (impressed Current Cathodic Protection).
- Proven experience in managing EPC interfaces and multi-disciplinary coordination.
- Confident handling of common IT systems (MS Office, SAP Hana)
- Knowledgeable of the specific rules and regulations,
- Extensive knowledge on foundations and jacket structures.
