This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for driving end-to-end talent acquisition efforts and building a best-in-class team to support ongoing business growth.
*The TA Leader needs to have Japanese proficiency and business level English skills.
Role Overview
As the Head of Talent Acquisition, Japan, you will take full ownership of the hiring strategy, execution, and team leadership in one of the company’s key international markets. This includes overseeing all hiring activities-ranging from graduate programs and experienced hires to senior-level recruitment and global mobility placements-while enhancing the employer brand and aligning recruitment with the organization’s broader goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing talent acquisition team.

Collaborate closely with HRBPs and business leaders to understand workforce needs and align recruitment strategies accordingly.
Talent Acquisition Execution

Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies across multiple channels including social media, digital platforms, and professional networks.

Oversee full-cycle recruitment, ensuring a strong pipeline for fresh graduates, mid-level professionals, senior executives, and international secondments.
Employer Branding

Champion initiatives to enhance the company’s employer brand in Japan and globally.

Leverage digital platforms to communicate brand values and attract high-caliber talent.
Data-Driven Recruitment

Use analytics to monitor hiring effectiveness and refine strategies.

Build and maintain a strong candidate relationship management system to support long-term talent needs.
Qualifications & Requirement
- Fluency in both Japanese and English is essential.

Proven leadership experience in talent acquisition, preferably within a multinational environment.

Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative leadership style.
