Technical Contracting Manager for a major Offshore Wind Project based in Poland
Responsibilities
- Prepare technical documentation for tenders.
- Ensure consistency and apply our common technical standards and requirements to project-specific requirements (permit and grid requirements), coordinating the input of engineering, regional development, and construction teams.
- Evaluate offers, identifying and evaluating deviations to our requirements.
- Coordinate and lead technical negotiations with suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
- Develop and implement technical standards and requirements.
- Capture lessons learned out of the contracting processes as well as from stakeholders within the company and support or lead improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with procurement, engineering, and the regional development and construction teams for the above.
Requirements
- Academically educated in the Civil or Electrical Engineering discipline or similar.
- Experienced in contracting technical solutions and/or project and site management, especially in Wind, Solar, Battery Storage, or other energy infrastructure projects.
- Ability to evaluate technical requirements against economic benefits through all phases of project life.
- Good technical understanding of Wind, Solar and/or BESS projects, related civil and electrical infrastructure (Balance of Plant), and appreciation of grid connection requirements.
- Broad knowledge of the use of relevant guidelines, norms and standards and Best Practices
- Over five years of relevant work experience and above-average expertise in the design and/or construction of Wind, Solar and/or ideally BESS projects.
- Team-orientated with interdisciplinary interest, able to develop effective working relationships and work in international teams across functions and countries.
