Role Summary
We are looking for a senior technical leader to guide the development of utility-scale clean energy projects from a technical perspective. This position will play a critical role in shaping project concepts, supporting early-stage evaluations, and ensuring a smooth transition from development to execution. The focus spans land assessment, grid access, permitting support, design input, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities

Project Screening & Evaluation
Support identification and early assessment of new project sites, considering environmental, logistical, and technical criteria. -
Technical Oversight
Manage key technical inputs across project stages, including concept design, technology selection, and risk identification. -
Interface with Grid & Authorities
Engage with relevant parties for grid access and ensure alignment with required technical and regulatory standards. -
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams (commercial, legal, ESG, etc.) and external advisors to ensure consistent technical alignment across all project activities. -
Cost & Feasibility Input
Provide input into investment cases, including basic cost assessments and performance assumptions. -
Transition to Delivery
Ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer to downstream teams responsible for construction and execution.
Ideal Background

10+ years of relevant technical experience in energy or infrastructure projects, ideally in power generation or renewable technologies.

Engineering degree.

Solid grasp of design principles, permitting processes, and utility coordination.

Comfortable leading technical workstreams and engaging with both commercial and technical audiences.

Able to manage multiple inputs, timelines, and stakeholders effectively.
