Taylor Hopkinson is in the search of a Technical Development Manager for a global leader in the energy industry, currently expanding its business in Poland.
The role is based in Warsaw, with the possibility of having a hybrid work.
Responsibilities
- Search and assess potential locations for the development of wind and BESS projects, including checking the resource conditions and grid connection applications
- Coordinate transactions with landowners and potential development partners to develop a strong pipeline of projects, being the main point of contact
- Interact with local authorities to ask for permits and monitor the full approval process until the RTB
- Develop the local network and develop relationships with developers, EPC companies, utilities, advisors, engineering companies and investors
- Support during the environmental procedures and grid connection processes
- Identify potential opportunities for the purchase of projects and co-development negotiations
- Support the projects also after the development in the early stages of construction
- Experience cooperating with the TSO/DSO
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Power Engineering
- Previous experience in project development and permitting procedures, especially in wind or energy storage
- Knowledge of the Polish renewable energy market and regulation
- Fluent in Polish and English
- Availability to travel when required, mostly to local projects and administrations
