About the Role:
A global leader in renewable energy innovation is seeking a senior-level professional to drive the development and adaptation of offshore wind turbine product strategies across European markets. This role blends product definition, system-level engineering, and technical customer engagement to guide solutions that align with regional market needs, regulatory frameworks, and client expectations.
Core Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth research and analysis on offshore wind energy markets at both global and regional levels, with particular focus on regulatory trends, site conditions, client demands, and competitor positioning.

Define the roadmap for offshore wind turbine portfolios, tailoring specifications and functionalities to meet evolving project and market requirements.

Co-lead or act as system-level engineering lead on new product development initiatives, ensuring alignment between design, performance, and feasibility.

Collaborate with project technical teams to assess wind resource data and project-specific requirements in order to configure optimal turbine solutions-including model selection, site suitability, layout configuration, and yield projections.

Support the formulation of commercial strategies by advising on technical differentiators, bidding criteria, and cost-performance balancing.

Represent the engineering function in technical workshops and system-level negotiations with clients and stakeholders.

Take a leading role in solving turbine-level technical challenges that arise during development or deployment phases, including field-related issues.
Candidate Profile:

Advanced academic background in Mechanical, Electrical, or Control Engineering (Master’s degree or higher).

Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience within the offshore wind industry, including exposure to product development, client interfacing, and technical project delivery in European markets.

Deep technical knowledge of wind turbine systems, wind resource assessment, and wind farm engineering fundamentals.

Familiarity with the offshore wind sector’s commercial cycle, including customer due diligence processes, tendering, and delivery milestones.

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work across departments and with international clients.

Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced industry environment.

Excellent communication abilities, including fluent English (written and spoken).

Open to regular international travel (approximately 30% of the time).
