WTG Fabrication Supervisor

WTG Fabrication Supervisor required for a major Offshore Wind Farm developer based in Poland.

Responsibilities:

  • Witness the Supplier works.
  • Witness the supplier’s inspection and test activities.
  • Follow-up on manufacturing progress.
  • Report non-conformities and observations.
  • Participate in final inspections and final walkdowns
  • Monitor production activities and production documentation as spot checks.
  • Monitor product quality and participate in FAI/FAT activities.
  • Report non-conformities detected during inspection and test and manufacturing.
  • Report relevant quality issues in clients NCR system (i.e. Synergi).
  • Follow-up on preservation and maintenance of components at supplier’s storage area.
  • Follow-up on manufacturing progress according to agreed project manufacturing schedule.
  • Keep track of trend concerning repeated non-conformities and manufacturing errors and follow-up with the supplier concerning corrective and preventive actions.
  • Documentation of daily work and inspections to WTG Fabrication & Quality Manager.
  • Prioritise participation in inspection/Process monitoring and test activities for different components according to failure trends and criticality of failures.
  • Review quality related as-built documentation.
  • Highlight relevant HSE related issues.
  • Inspection and manufacturing reports.
  • Non-conformity (Synergi) report.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory technical education and knowledge in mechanical field (e.g. welding of steel structures, bolt assembly, non-destructive testing and measurements of components).
  • Recommended technical education and knowledge in electrical field (low voltage assembly and testing).
  • Recommended technical education and knowledge in metallizing and painting of steel structures.
  • Recommended 3 years of work experience within wind- and/or manufacturing industry.
  • Recommended 1 year of experience from similar position.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes and smart phone applications for digital inspections.
  • Safety trainings (optional: e.g. GWO trainings).
  • Fluent English and Polish skills in writing and speaking.
