WTG Load-Out Port Site Manager

Lead and manage offshore wind turbine (WTG) load-out operations at the port site. Ensure safe, efficient, and coordinated operations between contractors, vessels

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safety and HSE focus throughout all port operations
  • Coordinate port activities and equipment usage
  • Manage relationships and logistics between contractors on-site
  • Oversee load-out and seafastening operations
  • Ensure all work follows approved methods and risk assessments
  • Maintain daily progress updates and coordination meetings
  • Support delivery planning, inspections, and documentation

Deliverables:

  • Load-out operation plans and lookaheads
  • Daily meeting minutes
  • Certificates of Approval (CoAs)
  • Transfer of Risk logs

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in construction, load-outs, heavy lifts, or marine ops
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Background in offshore construction or marine warranty survey (MWS)
  • Knowledge of lifting/marine operations and safety standards
  • Fluent in English; IT literate (Word, Excel)
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • GWO Basic Safety Training
  • Offshore medical certification (e.g., OGUK + Chester Step Test)
  • 2+ years in offshore wind (preferably WTG/foundations)
  • Safety management training (e.g., IOSH)
  • Experience as Client Rep or Site Manager
  • Marine awareness training
