The new location is the latest step in our global growth journey and will be a base for our onshore wind, solar, energy storage and green hydrogen teams.
Miami’s position as a growing energy, tech and finance hub means it is the perfect location to drive connectivity with our existing and potential clients on the US East Coast. Its proximity to our Onshore Renewables teams in LATAM and Europe will bring our US teams closer, supercharging collaboration and allowing us to better serve our clients across these regions. And its ambitious Miami Forever Carbon Neutral plan makes the city a regional trailblazer in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and enhancing climate justice.
Boosting collaboration and connectivity
“Establishing a base in Miami gives us a real competitive advantage,” says Jamie Taylor, our Managing Director, Onshore Renewables. “Many of the leading US solar players are here on the East Coast, giving us regional presence that can boost collaboration and connectivity with our key accounts. The recent Inflation Reduction Act means that these companies are already making plans to ramp up deployment in the coming decade. Our track record shows that we’re the number one choice for delivering experienced talent in this space.
“Partnering with Brunel means we’re in a leading position to offer our clients market-leading recruitment and global mobility services, as well as adding value in areas like business intelligence, payroll and recruitment outsourcing. With this new base, we’re increasing our strategic presence in the US and establishing a platform to grow throughout the Americas as the energy transition continues at pace.”
Leading our team in Miami is Lewis Wright, stepping into the new role of Head of Onshore Renewables, North America. “Miami is a hub for international business and we’re excited to build our team with ambitious local talent,” says Lewis. “One of the best aspects of working for Taylor Hopkinson is that we’ll be supporting these new roles with the world-leading talent we have internally, opening up new opportunities to helping our people grow and develop both personally and professionally.”
“We’ll be creating local jobs within the community and I’m delighted that we’ve already secured our first local hire. Nick Fallows has joined us as Key Account Manager, bringing a strong track record of recruitment experience here in Florida to the team.
“I’m really looking forward to growing our presence here in Miami, connecting more renewables specialists to pioneering onshore renewables projects in the coming years, and helping our clients drive the transition to clean energy throughout the Americas.”
