Following a successful tender process, Taylor Hopkinson has been awarded a contract by Moray Offshore Windfarm (West) Ltd to supply freelance roles for Moray West Offshore Wind Farm.
Taylor Hopkinson will be the sole supplier for freelance personnel outside of Europe, including the Middle East, Asia and the US. Moray West, an 860MW offshore wind farm, is being developed by OW Ocean Winds and is located in Scotland’s Outer Moray Firth, approximately 22.5km from the Caithness coastline.
The wind farm will consist of up to 85 offshore wind turbines and is aiming to be fully operational in 2024/25 with an operational life of over 25 years.
Taylor Hopkinson will supply project specialists throughout the lifecycle of the project including manufacturing, construction, installation, commissioning and O&M and will be sole supplier for freelance roles based outside of Europe.
The agreement commenced in March 2022 and will run until handover to operations in 2024/25.
