Hanwha has reached an agreement to acquire a 100% stake in the capital of RES Méditerranée
The agreement means RES can double its project portfolio in Europe to 10GW and boost its business in photovoltaic energy and position itself in the terrestrial and marine energy market.

Vattenfall’s onshore wind project is set to commence in early 2023
The project involves Vattenfall installing 50 new wind turbines at South Kyle’s Wind Farm located in Scotland with the move is projected to bring many benefits to the country.

Scotland’s first electric-powered aircraft completes successful trial
The aircraft features an innovative design that uses an engine and electric motor instead of the traditional two engines seen in a plane. The trial saw the aircraft complete a 37-mile trip around Orkney – showcasing the potential of electric-powered aircrafts.

Glasgow City and East Lothian have been selected to trial electric vehicle chargers
They are two of four regions in the UK selected to participate in the smart meter technology scheme which aims to incentivise drivers to explore the option of using electric vehicles as well as trialling the convenience of charging points throughout the area.
