8 Opportunities to join the growing offshore wind investment sector

The continuing global growth of renewables and clean energy, coupled with a growing appetite from institutions to make climate-conscious investments, is making offshore wind an attractive choice for deploying capital.

Taylor Hopkinson is recruiting for a number of vacancies in offshore wind investment at a global pension fund.

The projected global increases in the sector in coming decades make it particularly appealing for large private investors, such as pension funds. Research from the International Renewable Energy Association (IRENA) shows that approximately 20% of private investors have invested indirectly in renewables in the past 20 years, with around $12bn invested directly and indirectly up to 2018.

Offshore wind investment is steadily increasing, creating a steady stream of new job opportunities in renewables investment funds. We’re currently working with an offshore wind and energy transition investment platform for a global pension fund that’s looking to grow its investment, asset management, and business development teams to focus on the renewables expansion. A number of senior and mid-level positions are now open at this leading investment platform, and we are looking to speak to candidates in the sector matching the skillsets detailed below.
