The 26,770km challenge
– we’re doing it all again!
We’re raising funds for the Samaritans and IASP
Who, what & why
In October last year, we embarked on an epic global team effort to run / walk / cycle (or practically any other chosen self propelled method!) the distance between our international offices by 28 March 2021.
Our team was so motivated by the challenge that we completed it 2 WEEKS early!!
But it’s no rest for the wicked!! 👏 We’ve decided to commit to the return leg – which started in Taiwan on Saturday 20 March, and will finish at our head office in Glasgow – target date 29 August 2021. 🎯
A vital cause
Our Charity Partners
Before Coronavirus hit, 20,000 Samaritans volunteers were answering a call for help every six seconds. This could be someone you know, family or friends in urgent need but unable to talk to anyone in the middle of the night. It is more important than ever for Samaritans to be there 24/7, 365 days a year for those who need us.
The International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) is dedicated to preventing suicide and suicidal behaviour globally, alleviating its effects, and providing a forum for academics, mental health professionals, crisis workers, volunteers and suicide survivors.
Your donation to these Appeals will help reach those who are struggling to cope. It will help recruit more volunteers and work faster on different ways to be there.
