Taylor Hopkinson (TH), global renewable energy consultancy has been shortlisted for Recruiter of the Year at the second edition of the Wind Investment Awards. Having won the Recruiter of the Year 2019 award, this is the second time TH has been shortlisted, demonstrating the company’s commitment to enabling a diverse, global workforce that will drive the world’s transition to sustainable energy.

As a dedicated renewables business, we work hard to ensure we grow in a professional, inclusive and sustainable way to deliver the best service we can, underpinned by a genuine passion to achieve our climate goals.

Throughout 2020 we continued to cement our position as a trusted partner to a stellar list of clients within the sector. With placements spanning 40 countries and over 75 offshore wind farms, we strengthened existing relationships and introduced new clients, and our tender success with some of the industry’s key players is testament to our growing presence, strong delivery and dedication from our team.

The annual Wind Investment Awards is a platform to celebrate best practice in the global onshore and offshore wind industry, incorporating innovation, financing, project development and asset management.

Hosted by global wind industry community A Word About Wind, the awards unite prominent decision-makers to enable opportunities to network and forge long-term business connections.

Tom Hopkinson, CEO, Taylor Hopkinson, said:

“We are delighted to have been shortlisted in this category for the second year running and it would be great to retain the title of Recruiter of the Year. TH has shown true resilience to achieve a record-breaking year for revenue, regional investment and continued growth in headcount, set against the backdrop of uncertainty caused by the global pandemic. We continue to support major projects in our home markets whilst supporting our clients’ entry into emerging markets in the US and APAC. Our commitment to improved diversity in our sector was cited as a key asset at the 2019 awards, and we further strengthened our efforts in this area in 2020.”

Adam Barber, Managing Director of Tamarindo Group, parent company of A Word About Wind, said:

“There’s no question it’s been a challenging year. Within our industry, and the world at large. Which is all the more reason we take pride in acknowledging and celebrating the successes of businesses and individuals within the global wind sector over the last 12 months. It’s invigorating to see the level of passion within the industry, the commitment to driving innovation, and the impact that has on the future of renewable energy production. We congratulate them all and will continue to play our part in empowering people in the sector to build a cleaner and fairer world.”

The 2021 Wind Investment Awards will be held virtually on May 20th, in conjunction with the Financing Wind Europe conference. Click here to find out more: https://www.financingwind.com/
