Business Development Manager DG, Ireland

Opportunity to join one of the world's leading renewable energy companies as a Business Development Manager within its DG team.

Ideally based in Dublin and a key member of the Irish BD team, this individual will have a cross-technology focus across the renewable and clean energy markets, primarily focusing on C&I and blue-chip customers across the solar, storage, EV and other DG sectors

The Role:

• Drive DG solutions development business, with particular focus in solar, storage and EV sectors
• Play a key role within a small BDM team by identifying, developing and securing key contracts with leading blue-chip companies in the C&I space
• Convince senior personnel within leading companies to pursue opportunities presented to them
• Act as a focal point for data centre market activity
• Grow both new pipeline and develop/execute lead opportunities brought to your attention
• Identify locations for innovate EV hubs and EV power solutions
• Engage in new markets while developing leads and opportunities to drive the success of the business
• Attend and utilise networking potential at industry events and trade shows

The Requirements:

• Demonstrable knowledge of Energy and Industrial markets in Ireland
• Self-motivated and driven with the confidence to work independently in driving new opportunities and business possibilities
• Proven experience closing large deals, ideally in the renewable energy/distributed generation markets
• Ability to influence decision making of senior personnel by advising on innovative solutions and offerings
• Excellent understanding of EU and UK policy frameworks in the carbon reduction and industrial energy industries
• Strong working knowledge of principal contract forms, PPA agreements and the formation of SPVs.
