Claims Contract Manager

Claims Contract Manager required for a major Offshore Wind Farm developer based in Norway

Responsibilities

• Support to site management and project team in managing contractual issues relating to the subcontractors and consortia partner.
• The site contract manager acts as a counterpart to the contract manager in the project team (back office).
• Someone with experience, but no senior experience, the person must be flexible of performing also commercial / administrative tasks.
• Identification of opportunities for outgoing claims, support /preparation of notifications / correspondence.
• Analysis of incoming claims, support in developing defence strategies, supporting preparing response / correspondence.
• General advice and support to site management, project management.
• Commercial Aspects: project progress control & documentation of the site.

Requirements

• Good understanding of contract law.
• Flexible approach and with excellent interpersonal, organisational and presentation skills.
• Mechanical, heavy civils or quantity surveying or legal background with appropriate qualifications.
• Contracts and correspondence are generally in English. The site contract manger must be fluent in English both spoken and written.
