As an E&I Site Representative (SR) you report to the Construction Manager and Substation work package manager. You support the package team in the safe and successful delivery of all electrical & instrumentation work on site. As an SR you have the responsibility for monitoring and reporting on all aspects of work during installation. You observe the work of the main contractor and his subcontractors. Given the nature of the work, this will be onshore, and from time to time it is also mandatory to participate in meetings ashore or in the port.


  • Monitoring and escalating / reporting (if necessary) of all environmental, health and safety incidents and near misses;
  • Observing and signalling all real or alleged installation risks to the Package Team;
  • Taking care of E&I inspections during various on-site projects;
  • You assess ITPs that are supplied by the contractor;
  • Assisting with review, editing and preparation of installation related documentation (letters, reports etc.) regarding claims, deviations and adjustments;
  • Maintain and prepare an internal report for the project in the form of a daily progress report (DPR) & receipt and validation of daily reports from subcontractors;
  • Where necessary, take a leading role in assessing changes in plan of approach or changes to equipment. Inform and advise the Package Team;
  • Where necessary, reviewing and checking the subcontractor's documentation such as H&S plan, QA plan, environmental plan, as-built drawings and calculations etc.
  • Monitoring and recording current weather conditions and subcontractor's decisions regarding weather forecasts;
  • Supervise the compliance of the subcontractor with the documentation with regard to agreed contract conditions;
  • Instructing the subcontractor to stop work in case of environmental, health, safety or product safety reasons;
  • Coordination and communication to the Package Team in case of representation of HSE, QA, and project management employees on board;
  • Identify any problem that may arise, or has the potential to arise during work. Provide help with solving any problems and inform Project Management directly;
  • Coordination and communication with the various project stakeholders (including HSE, QA, environment, Marine Warranty Surveyor and the main contractor) and ensuring smooth cooperation.


  • You maintain overview and respond rationally;
  • You feel at home in a dynamic role where you have to manage many stakeholders;
  • You are flexible and can communicate excellently on multiple levels;
  • You are a team player who thinks in a solution-oriented way;
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills in both Dutch and English;
  • Demonstrable work experience as an E&I Site Rep within EPCI projects;
  • High voltage 33 / 110KV, 380 MVA
  • Experience with GIS and SCADA;
  • HBO level Electrical Engineering;
  • Experience with projects in the wind industry is our preference;
  • Knowledge of QASHE (specific CDM 2015 rules);
  • In possession of a driver's license;
