Commissioning Manager – Offshore Wind

Our client, an international renewable energy developer, are looking to hire an Offshore Wind Commissioning Manager for their major project in Korea.
As Commissioning Manager, you will be involved in planning, scheduling, and coordinating all the commissioning activities throughout the development and execution of the wind farm. Experience managing commissioning activities on offshore wind farm projects is a must.

We also need you to:

• Facilitate the establishment of a commissioning organisation within the company.
• Make sure the necessary competences are available for the commissioning activities.
• Manage coordination with other commissioning responsible persons, when necessary, on a day-to-day basis.
• Coordinate training courses for commissioning team.
• Coordinate the commissioning activities performed by suppliers and contractors
• Witness tests (FAT, SAT, etc.).
• Coordinate the commissioning activities performed by the company.
  
• Implement a commissioning handover dossier setup/archive for FAT/SAT/SIT, pre-commissioning, commissioning, reliability test run and guarantee tests, including a document register/commissioning matrix.
• Inform relevant contractors about any changes to the time schedule
• Order tools, materials, lock system and scaffolding needed within the assigned area
• Secure that the commissioning activities comply with internal and external requirements/specifications.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
  
• 5+ years of experience in commissioning on offshore wind farm projects.
  
• 5+ years of experience in commissioning within the field of MV/HV equipment, SCADA, low voltage and utility installations and equipment.
  
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with project team members, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Fluent English and Korean, both written and verbal
