What you will do:
- Develop and manage CAPEX/DEVEX budgets with project team collaboration.
- Coordinate budgeting methods and ensure best practices are followed.
- Ensure budget quality through benchmarking.
- Align costs, time, specifications, and interfaces in the budgets.
- Perform quality assurance of Assumption books and SoW and conduct documentation reviews.
- Report and document CAPEX/DEVEX budget for business case, financial forecasts, and decision making.
- Hand over budgets to Finance Team at stage gates.
- Develop cost estimate tools.
- Plan and execute budget process, including work streams for gate passage and reviews, Assumption Book/SoW process, and sign off coordination.
- Establish budget presentation material.
- Manage and assess project contingency with risk manager.
- For CAPEX only:
- Coordinate OPEX budget, including interface management, scope of supply, timing.
- Report project CAPEX budget updates to EPC Director.
- Execute CAPEX assumption Book Review.
- Establish delta assumption Book and documentation book (relevant for FC).
- Owner of Delta Assumption book (relevant for FC).
- Make presentations for Financial Review of Capex (Maturation Procurement phase).
- For DEVEX only:
- Develop resource budget and secure data in Primavera together with Planner.
- Revise budget in cooperation with Project Controls Manager for financial forecasting.
- For decommissioning only:
- Estimate decommissioning for gate updates.
