Energy Market Analyst

Your Responsibilities:

• Creation, further development and presentation of regular internal reports on the market and competition development and providing action recommendations to the management team.
• Observation and analysis of global energy, commodity, banking and investor markets.
• Implementation of market entry strategies for foreign markets.
• Maintenance and further development of our client's internal databases as well as regular evaluation of external databases and sources.

Your profile:

• a successfully completed degree in energy economics or social sciences (or a comparable field of study) with focus on the energy market.
• Initial professional experience in the energy sector and knowledge of market analysis are welcome
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint), decent programming skills (e.g. VBA, Python or R), experience with databases (e.g. SQL)
• you speak both English and German, if you possess advanced knowledge of a Romance or Slavic language it will be an advantage
