Founded in 2013, the client is a global technology leader in the field of hydrogen storage systems based on innovative Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carrier (LOHC) technology. The concept enables hydrogen to be transported safely and efficiently in today's fuel infrastructure, thus closing the missing link on the way to a sustainable hydrogen economy.

The Role

  • Independent project processing of complex plant engineering projects
  • Coordination of work in the project team and independent, confident processing of the following key topics with trade-specific assumption of technical project responsibility:
  • Design and specification of process engineering components and subsystems
  • Technical clarification of requirements and functional specifications with suppliers and customers
  • Support of installation and system planning in coordination with construction
  • Development and representation of technical expertise on selected components and subsystems
  • Carrying out incoming goods inspections, interim and final acceptance of components and subsystems at suppliers and customers
  • Commissioning support
  • Coordination and implementation of FATs
  • Carrying out market analyses, technical acquisition of new suppliers
  • Review of technical documents and documentation as part of project management
  • Preparation for and implementation of technical claims
  • Independent coordination of team-internal and external resources to achieve trade-specific project goals
  • Resource planning and use of resources
  • Preparation for detailed scheduling
  • interface management
  • In coordination with the team and project management, you are responsible for achieving the goals of these trades on a project-specific basis

The Requirements

  • Relevant technical studies (process engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable)
  • At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in process engineering plant construction
  • You are a strong team player with project experience
  • Pragmatic, project-oriented working methods with an understanding of business administration
  • Affinity for quality-assured work
  • Knowledge of regulations in the world of pressure equipment and plant engineering and a skill in dealing with project-specific regulations and customer specifications
  • Practically tested spoken and written English and German
  • Willingness to travel for occasional business trips
