Offshore Wind

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, adaptable senior finance professional to join a global renewable energy developer. The organisation has grown significantly over recent times and in particular has strengthened their position in the Asian market, as such they are keen to attract an experienced Finance Director who can both oversee finance operations in the region but also report on performance to European and global stakeholders. This is a hugely developmental role with scope to shape a team and help the business grow in line with expectations - applications are welcomed from experienced finance professionals with (ideally) exposure to offshore wind projects and an understanding of European processes and culture. Prior experience of working in Asia is not a pre-requisite although it is expected that you will relocate to either Japan, Korea or Taiwan to be effective within the role.

  • Supporting and overseeing development projects in Asia;
  • Supporting Development offices in pursuing new initiatives;

  • Supporting in Project Finance and Insurance initiatives;

  • All-round finance professional;
  • Finance & Management accounting;
  • Project finance knowledge;
  • Energy industry experience;
  • Proven ability to think strategically and provide the business with concise analysis and recommendations;
  • Ability to interact with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders and counter parties;
  • Ability to prioritise effectively, excellent organisational and administrative ability;
  • Asia based (willingness to extensive travel in the region to visits the projects);
  • Ability to speak an Asian language (Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese) is a definite advantage
